Aycliffe squash club is part of the Oak Leaf Sports Complex in Newton Aycliffe and just received the England Squash Silver Accreditation. The club is supported by Great Aycliffe Town Council and has had Big Lottery Funding from Awards for All. There are four recently refurbished top class squash courts used by one ladies team, three junior teams and four men's teams, as well as an annual club championship (2008).  Top class coaching is available for adults and juniors of all ages and standards every Tuesday between 16.00 and 19.00 and separate coaching is available for absolute beginners up to more advanced.  The club has produced a stream of top class juniors that have progressed from absolute beginners to County, National and International standard.
